Legendary drummer Bill Bateman (The Blasters, The Flesh Eaters, The Red Devils, The Cramps) brings the reunited Blue Shadows to VIFF25 for its first live performance in the Pacific Northwest, featuring frontman Javier Matos and bassist John Bazz. Joining The Blue Shadows in a special guest appearance will be Ty Willman, celebrated frontman of beloved Seattle bands Green Apple Quick Step, Novatone, and The Vases, and a one-time collaborator of Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, Steve E. Nix, and Dave Krusen.

Dance the night away with a genre-defying set by Larry Mizell, Jr., host at Seattle’s iconic KEXP and son of jazz fusion pioneer Larry Mizell. Expect a global mix—from funk to Afrobeat to shoegaze and soul.
